TOPIC: 1961 Texas Maid Osprey

1961 Texas Maid Osprey 12 years 6 months ago #61510

I want to thank everyone on this forum that helped with information and photos to assist in the restoration of "Finnegan". As you can see, she turn out beautiful, way better than I imagined.

For those doing a restoration, I just want to say DON'T GIVE UP. I was ready to throw in the towel several times. Everything from frustration to exhaustion, to way too much money made me want to quit. I am so happy that I kept at it. It only took about a year and was well worth it.

I have learned a bunch about this boat and motor (1963 Johnson Super Sea Horse 40). If you have questions about a similar boat or motor, I am happy to help out.

Thanks again everyone that helped with info and photos.

Here is a link to the photos.
