TOPIC: Arkansas Traveler ID

Arkansas Traveler ID 12 years 4 months ago #64847

I have a Arkansas Traveler aluminum boat. The ID tag has the model left blank. Than there is the #14018. I am trying to find out the model, year, of this boat. Also does anyone know what kind of wood was used for the seats and around the top from stem to stern. I believe this area is called the gunnels. I have checked the library here and I think it is in the 1960-62 era. Also the safety tag states 17.9 HP max. The EX-14 is the only one rated 18 hp. Can anyone help with some information. I would like to restore it since it was given to me a long time ago by a dear friend who has long since passed.
Thanks
Fred
