TOPIC: 1st boat

1st boat 14 years 5 months ago #9682

I just purchased a 1955 Arkansas Traveler, Sport model - I think. The model # is UT-14 according to the plate. It has the fiberglass top with fins on the back. I thought overall, everything was there (my ebay eyes were working great) so I bought it. I picked it up yesterday and the cast aluminum cap for the wing on the right side is home-made out of tin. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a used one? Thanks, Adam

You probably just hit on the best way to find one, keep checking and one will maybe show up. Could your model # be DUT-14? I have a DUT-15
but no fins. Please post some pictures of your AT.

The tag that came with the boat says UT-14, but it's in a bag of parts and papers, so it might not be the correct tag. No windshield either, but I suppose that can be made. Did the windshield have a frame around it?
