If I only use the battery for starting, it is fine. I need to change my starting solenoid as I wouldn't work without tapping it. Would this cause the problem, or something else? There must be a drain on your system somewhere Mitch, they can be a bugger to find sometimes. After inspecting all wiring, you may have to start unhooking stuff one thing at a time until you find it?

PS - If you have to tap the solenoid to get it to work, it's time to replace it now. (Might kill two birds with one stone!)
