Where the heck does this wire go? I took lots of pics before powerhead replacement but of course this wire is not shown.

Do you have a wire coming out of the cylinder head with the same connector? Mine's a v-4 ,but it has a wire in the head for a temp sensor with that same knife connector. just a thought.

I figured it out. Like i said i replaced the powerhead.
The model # on my motor is 35521 and the replacement powerhead is model # 35520
I used the armature plate that came on the replacement powerhead and it did not have 2 wires coming out of it like my old one. Looks like the 2 wires are for the magneto and maybe model # 35520 is non-electric start??? So it only has 1 wire going to it. No clue.

Unfortunately my old armature plate was a block of rust so i need to get another one. Probably Ebay. Then i can hook up the 2 wires like they are supposed to be hooked up.

They are the kill wires to turn the ignition off. One of them also goes to the vacuum cut-out switch.

If you can salvage the wire out of the old armature plate, you can drill the hole to install it in the new one.

Are they special wires? Can i just run 2 twelve gauge wires out the bottom of the armature plate? My wiring diagram is not the greatest, do the wires run to the coils?

Nobody???

I guess i will hook wires to the breaker points where the coil and condenser wires go and see what happens.
