TOPIC: glasspar sea fair sedan

Re:glasspar sea fair sedan 10 years 10 months ago #89620

Oh and I forgot to ask does anyone want a free 1983 Larson open bow, no motor, no trailer, no steering,( my brother wants it for his seafair sedan ) and no title. It needs a new floor new transom, new upholstery, and a good buffing. Can deliver within 50 miles to your front yard.
Ya know I should probable put it on craigslist and ask $1500 obo for this little project. LOL

Sounds like a good upgrade on both the trailer and the Merc, Jetflite. C'mon springtime! :)

Even though I plan on replacing the trailer under the glasspar, I was wondering if anyone can help me identify what make it is. I was originally thinking it was a Sportsman trailer, because my brothers seafair has a tandem axle sportsman under it and there are a lot of similarities to my single axle trailer. But with further research on line, it looks exactly like a Gator trailer with slightly different fenders. The trailer was painted black along time ago covering up any identifying decals. So I was wondering if anyone could conform my suspicions that it is indeed a Gator trailer and not a sportsman?

I might try restoring the trailer someday so I would like to know what it is if possible.

I made it up to my dads house where I store my boats, and I was able to get some pictures of the new to me motor and trailer for the Seafair. I can't wait for spring so I can get started with the upgrades.
I was also able to get a close up picture of the winch support on the current trailer under the glasspar. The winch support is what makes me think it is a Gator trailer. What do you guys think?
I will be restoring this trailer at some point for a future project boat that I hopefully will be able to acquire in a month or two. More on that when I get that one home.
