Cool rig, It's a 1950's Kom-Pac Sportsman tinyhouseblog.com/travel-trailers/1952-kom-pak-sportsman/

The American Dream Trailer Company is making one based on the Kom-Pac americandreamtrailers.com/

There was a similar option for the VW bus

Here's one of my 59 Chevy Apache pulling my 61 Leecraft racing runabout. I built a custom trailer and painted it to match. The boat needs a new bottom which I haven't gotten too so it stays in storage for now. But it does tend to turn a head or too...

Thought about matching the Magnolia to my f100. . at 6mpg though, I doubt I'll be using it as my tow vehicle.

Still haven't decided 100% on a color. I want a classic period correct color, but not the usual. Leaning towards Elvis Caddy pink

Thanks. That was initial startup. I've cleaned up the engine bay since. Wire looms, turned all the clamps to face down, all that good stuff

What year is your truck,Davis? '78 or '79? I had a 79 . Good drivin truck. It had a worn out 302,but still a good pickup. I tinker on the 65-66 bodies with the big block 352.

78 . . built a tool box while I was waiting for the boats fiberglass to dry today

Opens up like a krispy kreme box. Tall enough for a qt of oil, fuel cap from a fuel cell. Looks real all the way up to it. Somewhere to store supplies and tools while still looking fast

Interesting stuff here guys. I finally got a set of finns to pull behind my 52 Chevy, finishing up wiring and details under the hood so its not on it. Anyway I will have to build a lowered trailer and the Custom Craft should look pretty good behind it.

Youch, hate to see that happened to a classic, any boat for that matter. Either the person in front just slammed on the brakes for no reason or they weren't paying attention to what was happening in front of them.

Well that is pure art and love the trick ski display! Where do I buy the white wall tires for a decent price on 12” x 5.3. My searches show they are a bit pricey these days. Would the Atlas Tyre Inserts I found on Portawallshop.com for $66.49 for 4 work ok? Anyone ever try them?

Thanks Doc, I'm not sure you can get ww tires at a decent price. I got mine from Coker tire, think they were about $200 a piece. Never tried the inserts, not sure how they would attach. I'm taking the boat to a car show tomorrow ( 250 cars 1 boat LOL), I'll look around.

My "new" ride: 1994 Cadillac Eldorado Touring Coupe, looks, runs and drives like brand new. Paid a lot less than you would believe.
