So I’m waiting to put the engine on. I’m polishing the hull back to its original luster.
I’m looking for an original top. Mine’s in bad shape......and the green and red signal lamp

I’m having a compatibility problem fixing the omc Coupling on my Mercruiser. I can’t fix the Coupling on the flywheel. Coupling fixation is not the same on the new Mercruiser model than the old one. The CRANKSHAFT is différent. Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks

She looks great. Sorry I can't help with the coupler but if you maybe post the question to the I/O forum on here someone with info can probably help.

What a beautiful job. That model is the first boat I ever refurbished, same interior back in 1985. The Buick V6 motor is a beast and can take a lot of punishment and parts are still available. If you cannot get your problem solved with the coupling you might want to rethink putting the original motor back in or get a Mercury outdrive.

Hello,
I’m actually thinking of putting back the original engine, an omc 120hp. I was wrong looking at the serial numbers of the boat. It is a reveler 120 and not a 155 as I originally thought. I have put on sale my Mercruiser 140
Changing the outdrive requires completely redoing the back panel. I don’t want to do this work. I want to keep the boat as it was originally.

Nice. Making major progress. I used to have a plastic toy boat that look very much like this model except in green. Yours has a very clean look about it.

A little diy at home during confinement due to the Corana Virus ! Not having the boat at home I can not advance the works. I had recovered an intermadiate housing an a gearcase group . I cleaned the whole thing and put a little paint on it. It’s cleaner! Still to assemble.....

Does the power trim still work? If I can recall it just takes regular oil but should be nice and clean. I do have some spec material for that. I'll have to look for it. Your welcome to have it if you want. I think it's for the 155hp V6.

I cleaned it, but I didn’t test it. I don’t have what it takes here. Actually the parts come from a omc 155 but the engine I install is the original 120 hp engine. These pieces are replacement pieces in case of breakage. In france parts become rare and expensive !
For specific equipment it would be cool but I live in france!!

I still have a few things to fix. The engine is heating up a bit, I’m going to change the water pump, put back a thermostat and add a small fuel pump.
