The weather gods have no shined brightly on this project in the last few weeks. I need to put a couple layers of fiberglass on the transom to call it done and we are getting rain every 2-3 days. Thought this week would be good, but no go.

Did finally remove all of the floor. I think that this boat had been stored bow down for a significant period of time. The plywood near the front where the V forms with the stringers had rotted to the point of becoming dirt. There was also a good pile of silt in the center section. Need to get a power washer and really clean out all the remaining loose crap. Maybe I can get the plywood, cut the floor pieces and epoxy them before I have to put it away for the season.

Tod, great progress. Sounds like the PO just let the boat sit on the trailer without any tongue jack or blocking.

It wasn't the immediate PO; he had tried to stabilize it before he sold it (he found another boat he would rather do). As I mentioned earlier, this boat was last registered in Los Angeles in 1969, from then until 2010 when it was retrieved from a vacant lot in Danbury, CT, who knows what happened or how many owners it had. If you look at the attached pic, you will see a dark line on an angle in the bow. This was probably the water level and it was like that for some time. How these things survive is sometimes amazing
