TOPIC: Spark Plug and Cylinder health

Spark Plug and Cylinder health 10 years 4 months ago #97713

what are these plugs telling me? Note the very different appearance and that there is probably less than 1 hour total run time on these plugs, and most of that in short 3 or 4 minutes runs on the water muffs as I have been toying with the Pertonix Ignition (I work to much to really get to spend time on it)

Or is it just too soon to draw any conclusions....

They are lined up left to right cylinders 1 through 6

Hi Peter, I would suspect poor water flow. One and 3 are running hot, all your even plugs are oily so there is enough fuel. None of your plugs are steam cleaned so there is no water intrusion. you dont say how it is running, but there is a possibility that 1 and 3 are not firing hence their cleanliness. Could have the plug wires swapped?
