This guy made it around the antique boat/motor/etc forums pretty quickly. Sold in one day
www.fiberglassics.com/glassic-forums/home/sightings/51-aluminum-duracraft-near-tallahassee

Dad fell in love with the lines of it, we decided to buy one if we could find one. As of now I'm just blindly searching around for "duracraft" on eBay and craigslist with no real luck.

Happily, I was able to find pictures of other ones. Anyone have a name for this beauty?
I wandered through the gallery, but couldn't really find anything that matched the three seat configuration.

Nice score Mr Asa, you don't see many of those around for sure!

Duraflite

Duraflite custom or deluxe

IIRC

I have a similar Duracraft, but it's a walk-thru style not twin cockpit

I think theres only 2 areas for seating. The rear area is the motorwell for gas/batteries/ignition box etc. Not for seating

Here are a couple of pics of an original one from the late 50's owned by a neighbor.

And a pic of one I bought for $100 and sold to a friend who has started to restore it.

An open cockpit might be an option, it makes for a more usable boat, and is easier to get in and out of. Here are some pictures of mine(I also have a complete resto page on here.

I might be interested in selling mine if you are interested in an open cockpit or haven't found one yet. Just search "52 Duracraft Sportsman" on the WWW and links to my restoration should pop up.
