We are in progress of remodeling a 1962 Duratech Comanche Cabin Cruiser. Does anyone know how to remove the windshield and side windows WITHOUT removing the entire cabin roof? I will try to attach some pics. Have been mainly working on the 1963 75 h/p Johnson this winter... but now starting on boat itself. We entirely gutted the inside.

If you would post some pics, it may help the gang render assistance Sailor. I'm not familiar with your particular boat, but windshields are often "T-bolted" to the deck, the nuts underneath can be a real bugger to remove. If yours are held in place with the rubber weatherstrip/channel, that's a different situation altogether.

Looking at the pic in your profile, I don't see anyway to remove the windshield without pulling the hardtop. Looks like the windshield supports the front of the top, but someone more familiar with cruisers may have a better idea.

Some close up pictures of the edges would be nice. It had to go in there somehow. Just need some reverse engineering.

Thanks for your reply. We too, think the windshield supports the front of the top... I will try to put some more pics on the site.
