What a fantastic looking boat - any updates? I have been researching what aluminum boat companies had inboard models. So far I haven't found any for sale. (Converting over from wood) any new photos would be great to see!

samson1944,

WELCOME ABOARD!

NUMEROUS companies made convention tin inboards in that era. -A friend has one with a hotwater 6 Chevy.

Satx - what other aluminum inboard models (no cabin cruiser) were there in the 1940's through the 1950's? I current am working on a '56 Lyman 18' runabout with a graymarine 100 as well. This will be my fourth wood boat but I am ready to move on to a classic aluminum runabout. I checked out a Mullins steal hull boat, but I wasn't too excited by its condition.

Just an up date I had the engine running very well then the carb started to drip through a gasket , finally found a rebuild kit should have in a couple of days hooked up the drive shaft today and got the gas tank set and hooked up had to have part of the shifter rod fabricated and got it installed. so now I am just waiting on the carb kit then will be ready for water testing
