TOPIC: Good resources for used Mercruiser zengine

I am looking for a good running Mercrusier 165 41.L 6cyl. I cannot afford a remanufactured one, and rebuilding mine would cost 5-6K, mostly labor. So I am hoping to find a 165 that someone has taken out of their boat that is in good running order, or maybe not. If the engine block and head are ok then I can salvage all the rest off my old engine. Mine has a cracked block and and the head is corroded.

Anyway, looking for Mercury repair shops or mechanics who work on Mercruisers that may have come across one or know of someone re-engining their boat. Prefer here in the PACNW. If so I can pick it up.
