I was at the Spokane boat show last week and saw that they had some information on display about the Priest Lake boat show. I wont miss it this year it looked like a lot of fun. I think we will make a little camping trip out of it. Anyone have any other good ones to go to this year? I just joined the ACBS and it looks like they have a few in the area too that would be fun.

We always have a good turn out for the La Conner boat show in North west Washington and a good spot to hit the San Juans for a short trip ! If you have a small boat you can get some salt out of La connor and the inside of Whidbey Island is pretty protected and alot of small Islands to visit with -out having to go out side . You can go through Deception Pass and get a thrill ( Check the tides ) Hope Island and Skagit Island have nice camp spots and Toilets . Beaches are nice so you can beach the boat. Boat show is Mid August
La Connor is where the " Skagit " boats were built in the mid to late 50s

That looks beautiful. If I can talk my girlfriend into it I may have to make the trip over. My boat is pretty sizeable and hopefully will have the second homelite mounted up. Is that a members only type event or can anyone take part?

Hi Nick,
The LaConner Boat and Car Show is an open event and all are welcomed. They didn't show up this past year but the guys from the Classic Rat Boat Society always seem to have a good ol time. They have a mix of boats from boats on the water, trailer-ed boats, show boats to "blackberry" find boats. If enough people are interested we put the boats in the water the following day and head out for the islands.

We are hosting a boat show called the Maritime Heritage Festival on July 13-15 2012. The event was previously hosted in Portland, Oregon and moved to St. Helens, Oregon City Docks which is about 20 miles north of Portland on the Columbia River.

We would like nothing better than to have some outstanding Fiberglassics to join the many types vessels (PT boat, 220-feet sternwheeler, wooden vessels large and small and Native American canoes, art etc). It is a well-supported and attended event that is also a lot of fun. I have attached registration info here as well. Hope to see you there!
