Hello everyone

I got hooked on the classics about a year and a half ago with my 1960 larson all American. Iv always wanted a cool boat growing up around hot rods, race tracks and what not. Now the adiction has really set in. I pick up my 61 red fish shark this weekend and am steady shopping. A frind and I are rigging a trailer to carry four boats at once an are heading north to snag a few a year to redo. THe south seems to be really dry of glassics, and I dont even try to find wood. That seems a lost cause with our humidity. The idea for us is to restore to water ready and sell afordable glassics in our area. What it boils down to is we want ppl to play with. A classic boat club is nonexictent here and we need one.

If any of you might know where the glassicss are please let me know. Lets try to save'em befor they hit the dumps.

RUSTY : WELCOME & HELLO from Chattanooga , Tn. We got the warm weather the last two weeks that you sent up ..! That Stinger O/B is about the best all around size for classics.. I am sort of on the Larson, side brand of Glasspar with my collection.

Sounds like you need to talk to Doug Young in your area. A hot rod guy who must have bought up all the boats in your area..!? There is a very big suppy in Oklahoma. Welcome ya coming north & will help on the style you wish ,BUT you are in a hot area.

One of my contacts offered me a CLOUD catamarin, running cond with Merc, two weeks ago.. Saw pics & very similar to a Custom Craft.
These were built in Missouri.

Greetings Rusty, From Ellijay, GA. Down here we are seeing more classic glass-just had 5 AristoCraft nineteens at the Chatuge ACBS show, it was really cool. The Blue Grass Chapter seems to have quite a large number of glass boats at their shows. I think it's ony a matter of time before we will have a good amount of glass at the shows. Personally I think it spices up the viewing instead of just wood, wood, wood.

DH and I purchased a 1961 Redfish last fall. We haven't started restoring her, have 2 more in line before her. Please keep us up to date on your progress.

ALSO, I am DYING to see how you rig up a multi-boat trailer as we seem to be adding more boats to the stable all the time.

Rusty
I do like the looks of that white Merc.
Could you put some other shots of it here?
Thanks

Anything specific you would like Neil? I will do general shots, but if you need close ups I'd be glad to.

Thanks Mark

Well its Friday night, 11:00 and I just finished getting it water ready. So far so good. Its running good in the barrel. Bright and early we take our first ride together. If she performs well we will head out to our bayou bash going on, if not the All American gets to go to the party. Fingers crossed the little red gets to go.

Beautiful shot Rusty, way to represent the 'Glassic crowd! Patriotic too - Red, white, and blue with only two boats. Okay, I'll shut up and go back to work now.
