TOPIC: Any New Mexico Fiberglassics here?

Been here since 1995 and have restored a few Fiberglassics. I have seen ONE at a local lake, Conchas Dam. Looked like an old Lone Star but it went by and I was fishing so couldn't chase him down! Anyway just wondering if there are any members on this site from New Mexico. personally I am from the Tijeras area.

I'm way down south in Deming. Not a whole lot of boaters down here. Nearest lake with any size to it is Elephant Butte, about 100 miles north. The Butte is getting way low on water these days but still has enough to run my 16 footer. Ever go to Blue Water Lake?

I am in Belen, NM. I have a 1959 fiberflite I am trying to finish up.

Well, that makes three of us in NM. Next summer I hope to start taking my rig to the northern part of the state. Looks like there are some nice lakes up that way. Putting some larger/better tires on my trailer for the increased highway miles.

New to this Web site. I don't have glass, but I did just buy a 1956 Lone Star Clipper needing a lot of TLC. Elephant Butte is two hours from here -- which is Alamogordo. Brantley is about the same distance to the east.

I'm at Elephant Butte. No classic yet, but I looking. Lots cool old classics here in the storage yards.
