TOPIC: It's true,...Wild Thanggg has been passed along

I felt it was time to pass the Monster of the G-3 Glasspar along to a younger generation.
It was tough, but it was time.
I let her go in a massive "horse-trade" with a young wheeler-dealer.
Hopefully someone will buy her from him & return her to her glory.
I included an extra, unmolested lower half of a hull, so the d-laminating problems that cursed WT can be avoided.
After a few years of after-plane modifications, the beast would run out without chine-walking to 72 MPH with a 14.25 X 26" surfacing chopper on an 87 115-6 in 1500xs cowlings.
Sadly,...After a GPS documented 72 MPH run, the d-laminating hull would distort, and then all she would do was back-to-back 66 MPH runs at 6400 RPMs.
Quite a ride.

Hope the next owner has the passion to freshen and keep the G3 spirit alive and well. That is my kind of boating when you hear the surface wind chop turn into rapid ball pean hammer drumming on the hull as you air out and fly the boat! I am sure there will be "something" that will follow that has another approach to speed of some sort. We will all be awaiting that "birth announcement" lol.

Wow, that is insanely fast for a little boat. Thanks for posting the video.
