deac1234:

That is a very nice G-3 you have Sir! We also have a 1960 Glasspar G-3 that has been in our family since new. Like your G-3 we also have the original windshield and I was wondering if your windshield is also original?
Thanks!

Why has the red accent been photo-shop added???
Is it part of the future finale? I really like it!!!
I'm interested in whether or not the windshield is OEM or after-market too.
It looks REALLY nice,...But doesn't appear to be OEM - since it doesn't appear to have the complex curves.
I have attached a picture of the "Taylor Made" after-market windshield I used on my G-3.
Nowhere near as sexy as the real deal, BUT,...I'm not "Daddy Warbucks",...AND,...It kept the bugs out of my smiling blue eyes at 70 MPH gps.

Yup, the red side stripe was added via Microsoft Paint. Just wanted to see what it would look like and liked the end result. The windshield is not original. It was custom made several years ago by a company near Detroit. It is not a perfect fit but serves it's purpose.

The boat was only in the water once last year and this year doesn't look promising. I am very fair skinned, and old! That combination isn't good and I have reoccurring problems with skin cancers, hence can't be out in the sun! A cruel joke to play on a guy that owns three convertibles and the G3!

As for the boat itself, it's in decent shape, but is definitely a 15 footer... it looks best at that distance! ;)
