Everybody out running their G3's??

Sadly, mine sits on it's trailer...hernia surgery sidelined my plans to get it back onto the lake....recovery = slower than I hoped, but I'm getting there...

I'm wondering if it's come time to think about selling the rig. I'm not getting any younger and the storage costs are running up! That plus other projects taking up time....

Mine is in the pole barn loft. Need to get to it.

I'm starting to wonder if the G3 generation is starting to age out! I had rotator cuff surgery this past June and nearly three months later find it very difficult to get in or out of my '61 center deck. And, I'm seeing very few posts on pendng or successful restorations. Have we bought them all up?

I think it is just a wave in the admiration of the coolest fiberglass boats of the 1960s.
The passion is still very alive, just at a lull at the moment.
I can't fit behind the wheel of a dual cockpit g3, so I am "restricted" to the later "open cockpit" g3.
Wild Thanggg was a 1966 g3 powered by a Mercury 1500xs.
We still have Mercury Momma's '66 g3 powered by an 850xs Merc, but,...I really miss Wild Thanggg.
