TOPIC: early g3 center deck, transom question

Hi all, I cant remember if the stringers under floor run off center or is there one down the middle. I want to drill a small hole through transom on center line but dont want to hit an obstruction as i'd like any water that got in there to be able to exit.

I "think" there is on straight up the middle.
I'm going to attach a few various rebuild pictures I have collected in my "Library".
Also one picture of G-Whizzz,...Before I modified her, and began calling her Wild Thanggg.

Most everything you see in the pictures I posted are pictures of other G-3 owner's work.
It is a great "library" for future G-3 restorations.
I have a lot more pictures, but my "thumb-driver" poops out after a few pictures, and won't work again until I have shut down the program, pulled the thumb-drive out, and after a while, I start over and can access more pictures.
Kind of a PITA!!!

Thanks Doc, I might have to drill in then on an angle as cant see whats under floor. thanks for posting the pics, looks pretty much over built, but better safe than sorry. I've heard of G3 transoms with motor fall off upon WOT starts.

Well,...If you "ease into the throttle" the transom seems to do okay!
