I have not posted in awhile, but I check up on you guys. I still have not got my G-3 sea worth yet. Ive been putting time into the Carlson Contender and the 1500.

I thought Id give you an update. The old inline 6 pushed me up to 75.5 mph today an all time best for me on the GPS.

Ended up getting a helmet and a lifeline jacket to boot. Nice haveing clear eyes to navigate.

Happy Holidays

Yup, would-a should-a could-a! I'm still kicking myself for not jumping on this one back in June '09. Yeah it needed some work, but that 1350 with PT&T would have moved it along smartly! That won't happen if I see one again, 'specially after seeing the Carlson Top Speed video umpteen times!

Cheers............ed

Ed that 1350 short on that Carlson is a nice looking rig. I really like the 1350's. I have a basket case I need to put together his winter.

One of these close years I hope to start working on the G-3. I have a second 1500 short shaft to put on it and it will be interesting to see what I can wring out of a G-3. I think if its padded correctly and the best steering is used it will surprise people.

Trick is to have perfect steering.

I can attest to the Surprising part, haven ridden in the Good Dr. Thom's padded G3!!! Just make sure you have a Very Very Very strong transom. Did I say you needed a strong transom? Harr!

Have a good one.........ed
