When was the Glasspar G3 windshield style changed (i.e. from curved to flat)??

I don't understand. Here is a pic of my 65 with a windshield by Taylor. I do not think it looks different (or much anyway) from any other G3 windsheild

I believe it changed after Larson bought Glasspar and the G-3 got redesigned for ease of molding and lost it's sponsons, at that point it got the square windshield with small sides...at least that's what I am remembering. Maybe 67ish (?) this happened.
I think Jim Savage had some pics of his. I think it even had a faux strip decking on front.

DOH! I was not even thinking about those "other" G3's. My Bad!

Larson bought out Glasspar in 1968 and changed the total looks of the G-3, by building the "G-3 Catalina" open deck. I can't find a pic of the one I had, but have since sold it. (I lost a ton of classic boat pics when the old computer crashed. I never could retrive them.)

Hey, not to highjack the thread but what the HECK are you doing selling the G???? I thought we would terrorize the river or Ipswich Bay together, I'm bummed but probably less than you deciding to sell:-( I am interested in the Morse control on the floor, maybe I buy that and you can keep the boat? What do you have for shorties, anything for an inline 6 FGS from 61 to 64?
Elsewhere in the news I just picked up a 1958 Hiliner, I've followed it for years, from Somerville MA to NC to WI back to MD and now...it's back to MA with me, 6 years after first seeing it and then missing chance to scoop it. It'll spend the rest of it's life a few miles from where it was made. My dad had one when we were kids. Boat ride for Ipswich clams to Periwinkles!
R
