TOPIC: Anyone have a hull they don't want?

Maybe I've lost my mind, but I'm working on semi-crazy plan for my G3. To make it happen, I'll need the back half (or so) of another G3. Doesn't matter if it's 50s or early 60s.

Does anyone (somewhat close to KY) have a damaged hull or something requiring too much work that they would like to get rid of?

I've seen a few around for prices between nothing and nearly nothing, but unfortunately they have all been too far away. Wish diesel prices would go back down to $1.25 a gallon so I could afford to see more than the stretch between home and work.

I would suggest occasionally checking this website:

They have a dedicated BOAT section there. All you have to do is type in GLASSPAR and alot of our boats will come up that are for sale all across the U.S. Sometimes I do see G-3's that owners want to giveaway or sell very cheap.

Neil, Thanks for the offer, but unfortunately Idaho is a bit past the limits of my fuel budget. It's the thought that counts though!
About a year and a half ago, my wife and I almost moved to Idaho (just over the pass from Jackson, WY). That would have worked out well. Hmmm...but then I wouldn't have the current G3 hull. :o
