Introducing myself to the members.
I'm still in the "where to start" mode. When I do start I'll have a bunch of questions and thank you all in advance. I'll be back with descriptions of what I have.

nice collection, Ive done several, as have others. Their not real hard and even the cost isnt too bad. keep us posted. maybe we can get this page going again.

That is a nice collection of G-3's you have. I only have one which is a one-family owned 1960 that my Dad bought new for our family way back in 1959. Here is a picture of it for you:

I had the good fortune to receive a call from wbcarter today and learned he is within an hour drive of my Mercury Magic Shop.
We have plans to bring his 650 4 cyl powered G3 back to life very soon, and I look forward to meeting him and inviting him to join our growing group of PNW G3 cruisers.

wbcarter's my cousin. In about 1960, when we were teenagers, we would zip along the Hood Canal in my family's Sande Ace. He said that back then, he saw a G3 being trailered on the shoreline road while we...probably...tried to race it. He says he's been married to the idea of a G3 ever since.

Now, he's a dang polygamist! Three of them!! What they say is that once you get three, maybe the wife won't notice the fourth.
