TOPIC: what year did the g3 get the walk thru

Wecome, '59 '60 '61 were Center decks (CD), has bench seat. '62 on were open decks (OD) No g3's were made in '64...
think this is right? 62 & 63 had a passenger flip over seat to face skier then for 65 on had the typical back to back seats for four.

Are you trying to decide what kind of boat to purchase?

yes thanks for the reply, my g3 is reg as a late model not sure what year as paperwork is with the boat in storage i think it says 67 which i know is not the case....picked it up as payment in a trade but have two other boats so i do not need it.....

probably a 59/60 but if theres a hump that looks like a speed bump for your feet under the bow deck its a 61. also the bow trim alum is one piece for 61, 3 piece for 59/60

if ya going to keep it for a while i'd rip out the carpet, will only rot the floor if not already...motors too small really, needs a 50 or more hp, i think 65 is perfect for g3, even a bit more

For the size think g3's are the best ride but that one needs quite a bit unless doing a custom. Nice Chev, too bad not a bel-air ht, '56?
