It does look too cool to be real but I believe my windshield would be a problem. I also wonder about the vibration dampening required to keep it from bouncing against the boats gelcoat??

But then again I am an old buzz killer just ask anyone heh heh ha.

I'm with 65g3,It does look like overkill and I'd worry about rubbing the gelcoat the wrong way like morris said,but it does have a "James Bond"appeal to it. Used to launch the aristo by unhooking the winch rope and straps and backing down the ramp and hitting the brakes lol.
