TOPIC: Twin 55's

Well the weather here has been so good lately I have been thinking about starting work on mounting the other bearcat. I also have my new teleflex steering I plan on hooking up at the same time. Does anyone have and pic's or advise on getting these mounted and set up properly?

Yes, at first the factory spec was 20" centerline to centerline on transom.
That later changed to 26" industry standard as the V4's were too fat for that spacing.
I just got in a brand new factory stainless steel tie bar kit for mounting twins. You run your steering cable to one of the engines, which are paired with the tie bar kit.

Well just getting ready to mount the twins up. I am using a set of old OMC dual controls i picked up, and just ran the Teleflex steering. Working at a machine shop now so I get to fab up some of my own parts which is cool. I have two late model hoods that I need decals for....still like my Jetson hood better but too hard to find another one of those. Would like to see how that steering/tiebar works.

I will post pics as soon as I get both of them on the transom.
