what brand suggestion for lower unit oil for my 35hp 1966 Sea King that calls for "non-corrosive leaded EP90". First time changing and don't know what brand was in it. Thanks.

If it's just a plain ol' lower unit just about any 80 or 90 gear oil will work. If you have a big box store or a marine dealer handy they will have what you need. Just change it annually or if you check it a few times during the season and find it creamy coffee colored (you have a leak somewhere) change it more often until you have a chance to repair the seals. Electric/hydro shift on Evinrude and Johnson are the only ones I know of that require a special type "C" lower unit oil.

Pick up a quart of Super Tech Marine Gear Lube at Wally's, along with a gear oil pump, and you're in bizness!!!
