Can anyone tell me what the weight of a "Fat Fifty" and a '74 'Rude 135 are?
I'm beginning a build on a Hot Rod Tomahawk and wonderin' if I need to install the battery and gas tank holders in the bow for weight distribution. ONLY KIDDING! but I got your attention.
I have the 135 and looking for something around a Johnnierude 65 or 70hp 3 banger.
Willing to work out a deal with someone close, within a few hunnerd miles of Green Bay area. Motor must be running with controls/key.
I got a guy who wants to buy the 135. If no one responds.

The 1974 135 is 270lbs if it is model #135483 or #135443 or #300lbs if it is #135489.

Hi CAL, what are you asking for the 135?
I have a really good running Evenrude Triumph 65 but it needs lower unit seals. It is on a 69 Chrysler 118 that I will be re-powering with a Chry motor.
We are also fixing up a 70's Lil Champ bass boat for Musky league this year and have a few 70hp loopers to work with.

Gene, I had the 135 on craigs for $950. but that was just an "asking" price. I'm sure the interested guy planned on a low ball bid. Lower unit is clean, non leaking. regular shift, not elec. Winterized now. The skeg is shortened about 2", was broken off so I trimmed it.
I'd be interested in the Triumph.
I'm gone for the day to Steven's Point, indoor track (grandson) but will check the mail this evening. PM me and we can send pictures.
