TOPIC: 1964 Johnson 90 h.p ?

Hello everyone, where is the best place to find parts for this motor? I need the engine cover as well as a motor for the electric tilt. Thanks in advance for the info.i am looking forward to sharing the progress of my project with the group.

I had a huge amount of success on Ebay and it was generally cheaper than any store and most had free shipping and no tax. So, my first advice is to get your manuals so you know what part numbers you are looking for. Then I start every search by putting in the part numbers, without the leading zero, with the leading zero etc.

I have a 66 100Hp Johnson.

Yeah, for used old parts, ebay and craigslist. Some NOS parts on ebay too.

Also Iboats, out of utah, and as mentioned crowlley, and marine engine dot comms.

Prices are generally pretty reasonable for these OMC motors too.

Welcome aboard. If you need the part numbers for stuff, as Cal said, go to marineengine.com put in your serial number and it will take you to the pages that apply. Go through the diagrams and fine the part numbers you need. It should also show you what the replacement numbers are if there were any. It will also include the Sierra part number sometimes.
