Going through my parts bin and came across an old Airguide 653-a and wondering if that would work with the '65 60hp Evinrude. It is a 60553c WITH GENERATOR. If it would work what wires would I hook up. There are about six wires coming out the back of the meter and all the wire colors are faded so there's no way of telling what they are unless I pull the meter apart.
Won't be looking for installation until next spring.
