TOPIC: Key identification

I have a control unit from a 1977 140 Evinrude with no key. Is there a stamped key code somewhere on the ignition switch like previous years?
I suspect the controller is from an earlier 70's. The PO said he upgraded to the 140hp from a 115. The shifter has an additional TNT attached externally. The ignition switch is the white insert push to choke type.

If I remember properly, push to choke started in '77. (I know that '74 still had the toggle switch below the key and used the '73 series hockey stick shaped key). The conventional shaped key is the '77 series key. And to answer your question, the switch should have the number visible by the opening.

Could not find any identification on the entire switch, Bought a new switch on eBay from a marina in Ohio for $17.90. It has two keys.
First thing I did was try one of those keys in the old ignition...didn't work.
