Is there any difference between The Evinrude Big Twin 35 and the Lark 35 ? are the parts interchangeable...

If they are both 1959s, then yes, most, if not all parts are interchangeable. 1960s was the first year of the 40 and it had a few differences, but still many parts were interchangeable. 1958 Lark/Big Twin were quite different from each other, with the Lark having more in common with the 1959 Lark/Big Twin...

One big difference between 59 and 60 is the automatic choke. That was the year they went from the push button solenoid to a heat activated choke release. Also they went from 35 to 40 hp. The hood is the same fiberglass mold but the decoration is less flattering than the 59. (my opinion)
