Well guys, thanks for answering all my questions concerning the Johnson and my lake N Sea... got my Super Seahorse tonight! looking forward to firing it up... it has a busted skeg on it, but the guy gave me a spare that is in good shape with the gear cluster and also got a spare starter with it... very happy.. needs some cleaning up, but it'll get there.

I am now goign to be on the lookout for two badges which are missing... the badge on the front above the oval logo.. and the 40 cubic inch badge on the rear of the cowl.... Also, does anyone know if anyone is reproducing the Super Quiet skeg decals?? thanks guys!

haha that's ok Fabluglas... I'm sure some will pop up! I will be looking for a few things, but have time...

Would like to find the front flat chrome strip that has embossed "Electric Starting" and the rear clear plastic badge that has the Johnson name and the 40 Cubic Inch designation... Seems like these are missing off a lot of the hoods out there... so just gotta keep looking!
