Jesse,
Looks good, is it hanging on the back of that new racer you just picked up?

Sure does! Restore them both, they'll look good together, good combo.

Hello,
The information we have shows it as a 1957 model.

Cool looking motor!!

The cross reference on my site ( www.agott.com/glassboat/Manuals/SeaKing.pdf ) also shows that it's a 1957, and that it is equivalent to a Gale model 22d14.

I've got the service manual for that motor on my site, too-

You might find it helpful...

Thank you so much! that will be alot of help. Its really clean inside and just dusty on the outside so I will give it a compression test and am assuming it needs points and Coils, it has new plugs and wires from the looks though so maybe they are all new.... Time will tell. Thanks

That photo was submitted to the Fiberglassic calendar shown on the month of April.
That burgee has a small crack in the base. That's why I use it for display purposes. I use a night light and a timer to light it up at night. I do have a spare bow light like that. That same light is mounted on my Larson All-American powered by a 59 Evinrude Fat Fifty. That 2 blade prop fits the Fat Fifty.

Ok finally getting to the sea king 25... No would anyone know what impeller Sierra or Mallory # would fit this old girl? I was thinking its probably the sierra 18-3006 but am not sure..?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

- So I spent a couple hours working on it, No spark from the get go, took the flywheel off and low and behold the Key was broken, all new coils and points unter the hood. :) readjusted the carb gave it a new used Key. set the throttle to start nothing... got looking closer and the throttle / tiller linkage was off about 4 teeth from the proper setting reset that and vroom.. no sighns of pumping water so... I wait for an impellor to arrive. hope its the right one... dont have a short transom boat to try it on ready for the water any how.. at least it lives.

Yes, the 18-3006 is the one you want for the impeller.
