I am thinking about buying a factory pair of 62 Larks which are in great shape externally. Talked to the guy this am and the old running hot story came up. Of course the ad said runs!!! He's supposed to comp check 'em and start 'em tonight and let me know. Said he was a marine mech and figured they would need pumps re-done. Also stated that 1 motor has generator and the other one doesn't. Is that the normal set up for factory twins??? Thx, Joe

Hi Joe, yup, the factory twins only had one generator. Two generators trying to charge one battery is a no go.
