TOPIC: What Year Johnson?

What Year Johnson? 14 years 7 months ago #5357

Can someone help me ID this engine?

I know it it is a Johnson and I can read a 35 on the side, but the owner (distant) thinks it is a 1953, but it appears to be a 1957 model.

Can someone tell which it is?

Not a 53...possibly a 57. Do you have the serial and model numbers handy?

That would be a 58 model
all day long.
Quite a desireable , well built machine.

Some people are like slinkies... Not much good for anything, but they sure are fun to push down the stairs.
