Anyone know where you can get cover weatherstrip? The Evinrude dealer said it's no longer available. I have a 77 115. I have some earlier models that need it too. NOS anywhere?

Go to nymarine.ca Peter has recreated all the gaskets up to 1995, here is a direct link to the listing:

NyMarine has the seal in rolls cut to length, if you don't mind the seam, its fine. PM me if you want one fused together with no seam, the proper length for about same price.

I'm interested in cowl weather stripping for a 135hp 1976 Johnson outboard motor. I don't know how to use the PM system. Thanks.

If cost containment is in your program & especially if you have several engines to do, what worked well for me (1960 Johnson 40)
was automitive windshild wiper vacuum hose, split carefully along
one edge of the hose. It slipped over the ridge on the bottom
engine pan without adhesive, similiar to the original.... Ed
