TOPIC: Aluminum rubrail needed

I need to find 1" half round solid aluminum rubrail (3- 12 foot sticks) for my Sea Fury runabout. Any Idea were it can be purchased and picked up in Florida? Freight charge from Taco is ridiculous.

I tried the internet route, but ended up going with the local West Marine place. They had it stock in their warehouse, and there was NO shipping, even though the cost of the actual rub rail was a bit more. All the web places wanted more for shipping then the rub rail cost.

Thanks, Frank, I`ll check with West Marine. My locally owned small Marine store quoted me $59 per 12 foot stick, with no shipping cost. That might be what I have to pay. It probably is a cheap price.

Compared to paying shipping on this stuff, I betcha!

Called rubrail.com (your link) and was quoted $189 for the 3- 12 foot pieces. They are in Ft. Lauderdale. Too far to drive from Tampa, quoted about $85 shipping.
I guess it makes sense to by it from my local Marine store guy at $177. He needs the business anyway since boating tanked.
