TOPIC: 1960 crosby?

I just got this beauty last week, came with trailer, two six gallon tanks, 40hp johnson seahorse, life vest u name it, its all there. For FREE! A friend had this 1960 14ft. crosby(thats what is on the registration) and a what i think is a late 70's early 80's reinell. the crosby is on a junk trailer with no front but the reinell is on a good trailer. It's been sitting under his deck for three years. got some gas and a battery and it started up after about 5 minutes of tinkering! looks like its in ok concition. hope to have it cleaned up and tuned up before the hydro races next month here in Seattle. I was hopeing someone could confirm for me the yeaer make and model of this boat so i can give the correct infro if anyone asks about it. There are about 14 pictures of it on my profile. They were taken the first time i saw the boat. since then i have taken off all the chrom and anything else that was easily removed and gave her a nice deep cleaning. will have some new pics up soon. any help with info would be great. Im excited to be apart of this little community. YOu all have amazing boats.. :

I am very excited to be picking up my first boat this Saturday. She is also a 1959 Crosby. Not sure what model, but the owner tells me it is a 15 footer. Through the research I have done it doesn't appear that Crosby made a 15ft boat that year, so I am thinking it must be either 14 or 16.. Anyway, I notice your does not have a windshield. Mine has a windshield but it is home made and poorly executed. Are you planning to add a windshield to yours? It seems they are very hard to come by. I have read several how-to articles on making windshields, but I just know that this would be something well out of my league..
