Cosmic12 - looks like one of these boats just got posted to the Glassifieds on here. Might be far away, but such a very cool and rare looking boat!

Great Eyes Bill! I just put on my glasses. I sure have lots to learn about details. Those fins are quite cool...I did not look close enough to notice the other had none. Why are there SO MANY cool boats out there...the more you see, the more "infected by the bug" I get.

Love the hardware around the fins...looks like a rocket sled for Buck Rogers. There sure were a lot of different looks and under-hull configurations through the years. Bill, I can see where the high speed river running Allison would be "light years" ahead on the overall performance/fun curve. However, these Commando boats have some of the most interesting lines I have seen. You can't "see" the Allison's because they are gone in a "Flash"! I don't think the words "Allison" and "slow" are allowed to be used in the same sentence. I never had or drove one, but I have seen many transom shots :)

As said above the one in the Glassifieds has been on here for awhile and it is lacking all the cool stuff and way to far away. I would love to have one fast or not they look like 100 mph sitting still and would leave everyone wondering what planet it came from

Clever name and logo. I like it. Maybe if I had a fast looking boat like that, I could get closer to catching a little time. That boat does look like the speedo should start at 100mph before it even gets launched off the trailer. Love the hardware that all looks fast like Rockets.

The good news is I got it done on time and the bad news is I can't take it out tomorrow.I took it in to a mechanical to look at it and cost me $60 just to hear him tell me what I tell him what is wrong with the carburetor he said it will cost me $900 to fix it plus parts and this is the 2nd motor he ever fix that is this old.just when I heard that I took my boat back and I'm out of his shop.so hard to find someone that can work on this kind of motor around here.and another problem I found out is the trigger botton to start the motor doesn't work when you push it but after a few time it just work when it want to.basically I'm done with it and back in storage again until I find someone to fix it.Time to gave my glasspar delmar some tlc
