Since I live in the area I am quite familiar with the Thompson boat name and also the Oconto Cruiser name but never knew about the laminating part. Hate to admit this but back in '66/67 while I was in Boston my ship was moored next to old ironsides, same pier directly across. Boston Naval shipyard on the Charles river. As polluted that was the ship could be bottomless and it would still float.
All pomp and circumstance. The crew was spit shine and polish 100%
