TOPIC: Help to identify boat

Help to identify boat 6 years 5 months ago #137042

Hi folks, new here. I dug this boat and trailer out of a garbage pile ($200 CAD for boat and trailer). I think its a 58 or 59 princecraft. Serial Number 3996. Looks like a Red Fish... The Johnson is an FD-13 which seems to track to a 1959 model. I'm really curious as to the history as I can't find very much online for this one, other than Red Fish info.

We are looking to do a full restoration as a project for my daughter and I. I have restored aircraft, sleds, cars, etc, but this is my first boat...

Any info, hints, sources for parts, etc you wise folks could share?

Not much on the early history of Princecraft in our Classic Boat library:

www.fiberglassics.com/library/index.php?title=Princecraft

The company was known for making a wide range of boat styles, either under license or unlicensed “splashes” Of other designs, sometimes slightly altered.
