Hello, I am new to the sight and first time boat owner. I have been around boats off and on with my dad and friends. My neighbor and good friend has a 1979 Taylor SS with a 600 hp 455 Olds. I found mine on Craigslist and fell in love with it, its a 1969 Glastron Jetflite V143 with a 1973 Mercury 850. Hope to spend some time researching and hope fully getting some knowledge from you all as I spruce up this classic. Look forward to getting to know everyone.

Welcome aboard Jetflite, clean ole Glastron there my friend. Plenty of knowledgeable folks here to lend a hand when you need it, don't be afraid to ask.

Welcome aboard. That model is one of my favorites. There are a few nice ones one here. Great combo you have. I have seen this model with a 110 Merc and another with a custom installed 350 Chevy v-8 with B-drive that would crack over 80mph. Running the boat flat with the v-8 was more stable than the chine walking 110 notched out.
