TOPIC: 1965 Dorsett Catalina??

Hi everyone, I’m new to the site and to the boating world. I know someone selling what he is calling a 1965 Dorsett Catalina. I’ve been searching for a pic to identify it but can’t seem to find one. Closet thing I have found is this ad for a 1963 Dorsett Fleetwood express. Similar look but not sure. I didn’t see any Dorsett logos on it(boat has been painted several times),the only badge reads Vanguard.

Thanks for the pic! Doesn’t look I’m looking at a Catalina. Any ideas??? Is this even a Dorsett??? Looks similar to the Fleetwood express but the 3 front windows are throwing me.

I think that is a 1963 or later Arkansas Traveler Vanguard. The side treatment (horizontal dart) and rectanguler bowlight are similar to those on thethe 1962 and 63 similar sized Travelers.

Hence the Vanguard emblem? I’m going to search for some photos.

You are definitely on to something! 63 is way too early though. No oval window in the side, mine has full sliding side windows. Closer to late 60’ I’m thinking. Still searching for pics to match the year.
