TOPIC: Lost info on my fiberglass personal watercraft

Lost info on my fiberglass personal watercraft 6 years 2 months ago #137796

I posted here awhile back and got some info and advertising photos on my personal fiberglass watercraft. It's a Sting Ray made by Marine Unlimited, Inc. of Warren Michigan. It looks like a cross between an old sea do and a one passenger Hydraplane about 6 ft' long. Holds 2 behind each other behind a bow tie steering wheel. There's an out board motor mounted inside the rear. Looks about 10 hp. I'm retired now and would like to start a restoration but lost the info I had found! How can I find any thing on this site or can anyone help me locate anything about it? Thanks in advance. Bruisebrother.

Chuck in Cincinnati, thanks for the way to my old posts. Didn't think it was that long ago! The post from Karma on 30 October 2011 mentions photos in Boating mag 1972 content 106. How do I find that? By the way I live across the river from you in Burlington,Ky.. Mike.

Hi Mike,
Small world ! I actually live in Milford. But Cincinnati is more recognizable than Milford. So I went with the city landmark.

is this what you're looking for posted by robert-loigan in 2011 ? copy the entire web link and paste it if it doesn't open from this post.
BTW the magazine was popular Science February 1972 page 106 ?

Well without no pics I'd say you have a Johnson Seahorse outboard. Sounds like a fun little boat. Pic would really help. Check out this link if it will work.
