Checked my local boat ramp this afternoon to see if the docks were removed for the season....they were.
But nothing stops a persistent boater. No docks, one lonely truck and trailer and ice on the river.

One truck

If a person goes on Google, clicks Image button and then searches for Green Bay Musky or Green Bay Walleye, you can see why some die-hard fishermen are out. I have seen this at Little Bay de Noc in the UP of Michigan where they even break the first skin of ice with their boat to catch their limit of walleye ranging from 10 to 12 pounds. Fishing is still better than working they say.

Well I guess I admit I am a bit crazy for skiing from ice to across open water and back to ice behind a snowmobile at 16 degrees outside. Hey- winters are long, so gotta find a way to do our favorite outdoor activities.
