TOPIC: Fuel Tank for 67 Rogue?

The fuel tank in the Evinrude Rogue I purchased has 1 flaw. The Fuel tank is full of rust. No holes. Just 2” thick of rust at the bottom. What would you buy for a replacement. Spend the money for a custom made tank or buy one cheaper? I’d like to increase capacity if I can’t find an original. Any experience with this? I want to have a sending unit. In my early stages of research finding a kit or replacement original fuel pump has been difficult. Ithere was a replacement on eBay and I didn’t pull the trigger. Any assistance is appreciated.
