TOPIC: 1958 Skagit 14 looking for information

I just bought another 1958 Skagit (my Christmas present my wife says). I have been eyeing this a few months and hoped to get it before someone bought it for the Honda four stroke. I got the owner to sell the boat separate as he had many offers on the motor. The boat was set with heavy lift ropes for putting on deck of a larger boat. Has anyone seen one before? Was the tow bit an original, and as far as that goes is "Lug & Tug" the name when built? Any info would be great! The other boat in pics is my 1958 Skagit 20 we bought 22 years ago. Interesting Skagit....I have never seen one like that before. I have been looking for a 20' for some time without much luck. Any leads for me? thanks

I have seen one in Kingman Az a few times. We head back there after the first of the year for a couple months. It doesn't have the hardtop. I can look around for it before coming back to Oregon if you are interested in going that far for one. I also have a Dorsett Catalina hull to find a new home for if you know anyone. It is in Az.
